Raspberry Radiance – berry lip color with a satin finish paired with a shimmery champagne shadow.
Sugar Plum – neutral mauve lip color with a creme finish paired with a shimmery pink shadow (pictured).
Twice the Spice – deep plum lip color with a soft shimmer with a soft shimmer brown eyeshadow.

Jillian Dempsey for Avon Professional Lash Booster is designed to be applied between coats of mascara. it's a goof-proof gel that contains custom fibers that cling to lashes, helping to create a dramatic lash look. available in Black and Brown (pictured). this alternative (or in addition) to a lash primer really gives my my mascara a boost. this beauty girl loves to have fab looking lashes! :)

hair therapy: Avon Advance Techniques Frizz Control Lotus Shield

frizz is pesky (to say the least) and can easily put any gal in a bad mood. it's a dilemma that can occur anytime of year, but thankfully, there are products to help. the newest comes from an unexpected brand, Avon, and it works really well!



as the "big things come in small packages" saying goes, Advance Techniques Frizz Control Lotus Shield comes in a small bottle (2 ounces), but the formula inside it gives fabulous results. apply the silky creme on damp hair, let hair air dry or style as usual and tresses are protected from yucky frizz. the best part: it continues to work for 3 days, so applying everyday isn't necessary!

not only did i use this on my own hair, but i also used it on my daughter's. as you can see, she has naturally gorgeous soft curls...

i have to say, i am very happy with this product (it's a great compliment to my favorite No Frizz shampoo and conditioner). so much so that i ordered more so we won't be without it when it runs out.

My New Favorite Gloss: Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss

i have been introduced to my new favorite lipgloss...

and it comes from a brand i haven't used in years.

i admit, i didn't expect too much from it, but as it turns out, it's america's #1 best-selling lipgloss-- and for good reason!

since it's in the title (and, well, there's a picture), you already know i'm talking about Avon Glazewear Lip Glosses.

when i applied this to my lips, they became oh-so happy (as in a Carrie Bradshaw, "hello, lovah" kind of way). the formula is silky smooth, glossy and not sticky in the slightest. they come in Intense, Sparkle and Shine shades as well as Clear. the sparkly, nude shade of Mirage (a Sparkle shade) looks fab alone and over any lipstick, and Intense Plum (part of the Intense range of shades) is the perfect color for giving my lips the perfect berry tint.

Avatar star Zoe Saldana has just signed on as the newest face of Avon's upcoming fragrance, Eternal Magic and will also be featured in the company's brochure as a face of Avon's color cosmetics collection in the coming months.

Paula Patton at Avon Awards Gala

at last week's Ninth Annual Avon Foundation for Women Awards Gala, the incredibly gorgeous Paula Patton (awarded The Voice of Courage Award for he role in the new movie "Precious") attended the celebration of this fabulous cause with a fun, upbeat look.

Ursula Stephen, celebrity stylist for Motions hair products, created Paula's look for less than $15! here's how the look was created:

• apply Motions Light Styling Foam, focusing on the roots
  
• blow dry hair in an upwards motion to add volume
  
• spray Motions Light Hold Working Spritz throughout hair. Using a medium-sized barrel iron
  
• curl small sections of hair, securing curls with hair pins. after hair has cooled, remove pins and comb through with a wide-toothed comb
  
• using fingers, gently sweep hair behind ears and create a soft side part, teasing the crown if necessary
  
• finish with Motions Oil Sheen & Conditioning Spray for a long-lasting look
