remembering 9/11

on this 10th anniversary of september 11, 2001, i feel it's important to take time to remember, and pay tribute to, the lives lost and affected by the tragic events of that day. there are so many emotions and memories are attached to this day and each of us cope differently; i thought i'd share this incredible image and the story behind it...

ten years previous to 9/11/01, almost to the day, this photograph, 'Towers of Power', was taken of the Twin Towers, by Scott Andrew Tugel. the model, wearing the famous Donna Karan body suit, is positioned between the towers, with plane overhead, foreshadowing the tragedy that was to take place. this iconic image will be part of the permanent collection of The National September 11TH Memorial Museum at the World Trade Center, slated to open fall, 2012.

Red Raspberry is unique in that it combines the scent of raspberries with sweet flowers and cola accord (yes, there's a hint of a soda smell), creating a scent that is yummy yet surprisingly wearable.



Sweet Caramel is definitely my favorite out of the bunch. it's fresh like the original Be Delicious, but with the perfect hint of sweet thanks to caramel and vanilla notes.
